We believe Syracuse should lead AI not just in tech, but in ethics, creativity, policy, and real-world impact.

Right now, there’s no easy way for undergrads to explore AI unless you're already in a technical major. But AI is shaping every field—from journalism to design, health to education.

That’s why we’re building Cuse AI:

A student-led initiative where any major can learn, build, and shape what AI becomes.

This petition isn’t just a form, it’s our proof.

The NSO/RSO process is closed until 2026, which means we can’t take the traditional path to becoming a recognized student organization this semester. So, we’re building from the ground up—operating through faculty support and the Claude Builders Program from Anthropic while we grow.

That’s why, in early September, we’re bringing every signature to Syracuse deans to ask for:

+ Official recognition
+ Space to meet and host events
+ Support for growth and funding
