Launch Series Projects

"How far can you take an idea with code and compute?"

This track is for those who want to build with AI at the model and systems level. Whether you're a CS major, a self-taught tinkerer, or just obsessed with how LLMs work under the hood, this is your lab.

Possible project directions:

  • Fine-tune an open-source LLM for a niche task

  • Build a chain-of-thought agent that solves problems in steps

  • Create a multi-modal interface (text + vision + voice)

  • Develop lightweight AI tools for real student use cases

  • Train or deploy small models for accessibility, research, or analysis

  • Evaluate model bias or performance in unusual contexts

This track is about implementation, iteration, and pushing limits—with a community of builders. It’s also a space to pair up with non-technical students from other tracks who might need technical collaborators.

If you’ve been itching to get hands-on with real AI development, welcome.
